The mission of the Holiday House Tour, organized by the Newcomers Club of New Canaan, is to give back to the community by supporting local 501(c) (3) charities and service organizations that are based in New Canaan and/or serve the town’s residents.

During a tour year, local 501(c)(3) organizations are invited to fill out a grant application and identify specific projects, programs, or initiatives that they wish to fund within a 12-month period after distribution. 

In 2023, we will partner with the New Canaan Community Foundation (NCCF) for our grant process which means there is a new timeline this year.

Sunday, October 15, 2023 | All grant applications are due
Mid-December: All applicants will receive an email update on their application status.
Mid-January: Proposal and updated LOIs are due, if applicable.
February – March: Site visits, if applicable.
May: Grant decisions are announced
Late May or Early June: Grant Awards Coffee

If your organization has applied for and/or received grants from both NCCF and Newcomers of New Canaan Holiday House Tour, please be sure to note the combined funding request in your single application in 2023.
